I'm sure you're just over worrying about it!. But I would practice A TON especially while looking in a mirror!. Better yet, you should video record yourself and watch it back and then you'll know when you are looking stupid/bad or whatever!. also, if there's enough time, talk to your dance teacher and ask his or her opinion on your ability and what you can do to improve, so you don't screw it up!. This way they also know that you care and you are trying your hardest!

First of all do not get worried! it will really just make everything worse!. Take a notebook with you and write down all the parts you mess up with!. also grab a friend who knows all the steps ask them to help you out!. Hope I helped! Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stop practicing for about 2 dayz! Then after you LONG REST come back to it and you'll be as close to perfect as possible!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am a competitive dancer and I get stage fright too!. It's normal! Before my routine I remind myself of the motto/saying "dance as if no one is looking"!. This is really easy because if you have ever been on a stage you'll know that all you can see when you look out into the audience is a bright light from all the spotlights/stage lights!. Unless you're doing it just infront of your teacher (not on a stage) then I would suggest picking a spot to look at-anywhere but at your teacher, it might stress you out, and don't look directly into the floor (it looks bad) Sometimes what helps is to wear earplugs (just make sure that they're not really noticeable)!. This helps you concentrate and blocks out the audiences cheering!. Audiences will cheer in the middle of the routine if you do something really good, and their cheering can get distracting!. Again this is if you have an audience!.

Make sure to PRACTICE!. Get together with your group and practice!. Try performing in front of an audience (like your family)!. It will help you-trust me!. Go over your routine slowly, if there is some part that you get confused at, ask your group to help you out!. Counting out the beat also helps!.!.you know the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 thing!. Make sure that your moves are clear, don't rush just to get it over with or the dance will look like a mess!.

Most important thing: smile!. Even if you mess up your smile will make up for it

Good luck, you'll do great =D Www@QuestionHome@Com
