Need help with ballet ribbons - Any Ballerinas out there?

Question: Need help with ballet ribbons - Any Ballerinas out there!?

I am performing at a dance concert this weekend!. For ballet we have to wear black fishnets and black ribbon on our shoes that goes all the way up to our knee! The only problem is that the ribbons don't stay up!. They come un done, fall down and then we can't dance coz we trip over them!. Plz help with ideas to keep the ribbons up so we don't make complete fools out of ouselves on the weekend!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I ALWAYS have that problem! haha!. I have yet to find a perfect solution but some things that i found have worked is right before the preformance, hot glue the ribbons to the tights but that might not work if u need the tights for another preformance or b!.c ur using fishnets!. I've also double sided taped it and i've found this has worked pretty good!. Take the one side and put it under the ribbon and then just stick it to your leg!. Do this on all the ribbons on the top and the ones that cris cross!.!.!. Good luck! =]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try scrapbooking mounting tape! It's double sided! Bunheads makes "sticky strips" which are the same thing (double sided tape just for dancers to hold straps, ribbons, etc!. in place) but more expensive than the mounting tape!.

just b4 u go on spray hair spray all over ur leg where the ribbon is, or change the ribbons with special ones that have more grip(they do exist)Www@QuestionHome@Com
