Bad idea! Salsa is a partner dance!. The figures aren't nearly so important as the connection and communication, and that takes the feel of real person-to-person contact in the form of individual instruction from somebody who knows both how to dance it and something of how to teach it!. You can learn all the fancy figures you want, but you'll never dance them properly without real-life instruction!. Without the basic technique, the fancier the figures, the worse you'll be as a dancer!. With the proper technique, you'll be less interested in and have less need for stealing figures from video clips!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can get the basic idea of what salsa is about on youtube and see that it is something that has to be taught in a class!. Unless you are master that only does not know, it would be really difficult to learn the steps with out a partner!. I don't know how to salsa but I know that much just by watching the dance!. You could learn the maybe learn the basics by youtube but take a class!. It is a difficult dance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

dancing, especially social partner dancing like salsa, is very HARD to learn at home and alone!. With it's complicated footwork, timing and partnering, it is better to take a class or go out to a salsa club or meeting and dance!. A lot of the members or regulars can show you some steps and may help you out a bit!. TAKE A CLASS!. The teacher will show you so much more and you will learn quickly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
