Question: What do you do when you get hurt!!?
I dance, so I was doing a leap, and I did a sha-se ( I dunno how to spell it) into my leap!. And i have this big mat!. And so I started on the carpet and when i sha-sed onto the mat to do my leap ( I use a mat because its better for your feet when you land) and I stepped on the side of the mat and my ankle rolled and I fell and i was crying because I already have ankle problemos so mine are more vouldnrable then most peoples!. And it really hurts!! I cant wrap it beacuse it hasnt been 48 hours and you cant wrap unless your sure it wont swell!. Its Sunday and the doctors are closed!. My mom doesnt wanna take me to the E!.R!. to get crutches and I cant walk!. Im prrreeettyy bored and my ankle still hurts!. WHAT DO I DO NOW!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Obviously you need to make sure you keep it on ice at all times!. But don't put a towel on it then the ice, because it won't do anything!. Just put some ice in a bag and put it on your ankle, and it will be really really cold at first, but after about 3 minutes!.!.!.it numbs!. And make sure it is propped up or elevated at little!.

When the doctors re-open you should try to get an appointment to make sure it isn't broken, or if it is sprained!.

And just don't try to walk on it or especially don't try to dance before you see the doctor!.

well i have a simalar story bcuz i was at a company try out (i was already in it but we r required to try out again even though wealways get called back)and my batma was too strong so i kicked myself down and hurt my back 3days b4 the recital but it got bettre because i iced it for the first 24 hours then put heat on it bcuz that really worksWww@QuestionHome@Com

R I C E : Rest (don't walk on it), Ice (put ice on it, to stop the swelling), Compression (put a bandage or something to press in down a little), and Elevation (put some pillows underneath your ankle or something like that to elevate it above your heart level)!. ice it and alternate it with heat!. i di that and i move my ankle around slightly to make sure it doesn't get stiff!. also elevate it and keep your weight of it!. that's what i do when i hurt my ankles!. im an irish dancer so i have lots of sore injuries all the time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

put some ice in a baggie and stick it on there!.!.!.itll help the swelling go down!.

sit on the couch and prop ur leg up so ur ankle is above ur heart!. watch some tv!.!.!.

dont walk on it for a long time, only to go get something to drink or bathroom or whatever!.!.
