I am not sure which leap you are talking about, so I will tell you how to do a "grande jete" or a leap in the side splits rather than the center splits!.

Try to run and leap into the air, thinking of kicking your front leg forward and back leg back while jumping up and over something!.

You can put something on the floor like a shoe and try to jump over it in order to get your maximum height!.

It sounds like you are very flexible, so with strength (you can attain this by doing squats, but dont forget to stretch out your quads after), and practice, you should have a split leap!

For a backbend, you should try to hold onto a wall or door frame and walk all the way down, letting go of the tension in your head (but still staying strong)!. You can try to slowely drop down and hold on the wall at the last second possible!.

You can also push off from the ground to get the feeling, but your arms are in a different place, so you wont be able to learn it solely from that!.

sounds like your flexible like me!. the leap you're talking about is a leap in second or "a la seconde" and thats like a toe touch with a preperation, its really easy especially if your flexible but you need to strengthen your core!. (stomach, abs)!. you need to be abke to pull your legs up in the air!. make sure you get a deep plie before you jump!.

for the back walk over try stepping onto a wall and pushing yourself over from there!. then try a chair!. keep making the platforms shorter so you can practice pushing yourself voer from the floor!. get it !?
