Question: Pre Pointe exercises!?
What are some good Exercises I could do to help me get more ready for Pointe!?!?!? and some exercises i could do to get a flat straddle
both of my splits are flat but not my straddle!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Releve is your new best friend =]
Do them all the time!.!.!.while brushing your teeth, watching tv, talking in the phone!.!.!.
To get your flat straddle one way i stretch is the gravity stretch!. You put your butt up against a wall, your back on the floor, and straddle your legs against the wall!. Eventually if you do this for a week or 2, gravity gradually pulls your legs lower and you'll notice it!. Back to pointe!.!. You want to get used to pointing and flexing your toes and stretch your anrches out alot!. Do crunches to strenghten your core and releves help strenghten your ankles!. also look up Lisa Howell on youtube and she has TONS of videos on pointe and stuff!.!. GOod luck =]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Get a theraband!! they help so much!!! Put your fut in the middle and grab the two ends with your hands and pull back!. Practice pointing and flexing your foot!. also you can do releves and eleves!. As to getting a flat straddle try doing the gravity stretch!. Go against the wall push your but all the way against the wall lay back and open your legs so you are in a straddle position!. and hold it there for a long time!. it will hurt but no pain no gain!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

relevaes!(SP!?) But tons of them and we do this thing called duck feet where you walk on your toes and lift your legs one at a time and when you lift them you flex as hard as you can you should feel it in your anklesWww@QuestionHome@Com
