There are many differences in the two styles but most will be subtle differences that you may not be able to pick out unless you are a more advanced dancer!. Lebanese style is often more fast paced, highly energized, and utilizes more stage space!. Egyptian is often more medium paced and is more confined than Egyptian style!. The dancer tends to contain the movements and keep them small and inward!. Egyptian style is generally done in one place utilizing very little stage space and arm movements stay close to the body!. Lebanese costuming tends to be more revealing than Egyptian costuming (although lately with trend following dancers like Dina costuming everywhere seems to be getting skimpier and more revealing!. If you have the opportunity to take lessons or workshops in a specific style I'd highly recommend it as it will help you to differentiate the smaller nuances between the tow styles!. Otherwise try to watch a lot of you-tube clips searching specifically for Lebanese dance/dancers and Egyptian dance/dancers eventually you will be able to pick out which style you are watching!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
