Question: I've been working on my splits for years, but i still dont have them!?
im not the most flexible person, but my dance teacher keeps telling me im so close, which i am!
i need ideas for good practices and exercises to land a split!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

you aren't pushing yourself enough!. im a dancer too, and to get all my splits i had to hold them for 3 minutes a day!. also try facing the ballet barre and putting one leg in second position on the barre, then sliding down going into a deep split!. one way to also improve flexibility is doing overted splits where you stack some text books and put the heel of your leg on the foot then slide into the split (you can do these facing all 3 ways: back leg up, middle split, and front leg up) these really improve flexiblity! good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

okay, so this is what my sister told all her girls and they all have their splits: if you hold you split for 1 minute every day for a week, your split will drop 1 inch closer to the ground!.
