get someone to hold their finger out in front of you and then spin around, you don't have to do a full turn yet, but you can just spin around!.
and try to keep your head looking at the finger for as long as your body lets you before spinning your head around as fast as you can to the finger again!.
if you've done it lots of times and feel like your doing it correctly but are still getting dizzy, you're eyes are probably not focusing correctly, you have to learn to focus your eyes clearly on the finger so that when you spin around lots, the finger should still be clear and not blurry!.
the trick is to keep your head back as long as possible, and then spin your head round as quick as posible, trying to spin your head around before your body does!.
It's hard work but a very helpful technique to know!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I used to be not so good at spotting either!. Getting dizzy is your eyes not being able to focus on something!. so if you find something with a dash of color in the studio, focus on it right when you turn and stay with it as much as possible!. When you get on stage, there might be a little light on the back wall of the theater!. ask around to see if there is one where you will be performing!. it may take a while, but you'll get the hang of it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Use a!.!.!.swivel chair, is it called!? Well, one of those chairs with wheels!. Put it on a carpet or a rug so it doesn't move around, sit on it, and keep spinning yourself while practicing spotting!. That way, you can just concentrate on that and nothing else!. Remember to keep looking at the spot you're spotting, and snap your head around fast!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Has anyone told you how to spot first of all, looking at a fixed object and all that!? Assuming you know how, try practicing slowly without "dancing", just standing, turning, and increase your speed as you can!. Keep practicing!. No one is good at it at first!. Keep dancing as long as you love it!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

find something on the wall and while you turn watch it the whole time

so when you turn watch that object the whole time and right before your head goes to the back turn your head the other direction to look at that object

good luck :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

My teacher always used to tell us to stand in front of a mirror and turn in place!. Your head should be the last thing to leave and the first to come around!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

put a sticker on the wall!.
try to stare at it the whole time while you spin
you know you're doing it right if your pony tail wacks your face everytime you spinWww@QuestionHome@Com

dont have tension in your neck - if its too stiff, you wont be able to get it around quick enoughWww@QuestionHome@Com
