Question: I'm 13 years old and i really want to start ballet, but where do i go and will they except a 13Old beginner!?

I need to find somewhere that's in Northampton and is not expensive!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Thirteen is an excellent age to start ballet!. No one should start serious ballet lessons until they're 10 or 11, because before that age it can be dangerous - so you see, you're not that far behind, really!.

You may find yourself in a class with younger students, unfortunately - do try not to let it worry you!. Because you're older and stronger, you'll probably make faster progress (especially if you practice hard), so the teacher may let you move up to a class that's closer to your age group soon enough!.

Of Course! Most studios let children ages 3 to adult start as beginners!. I started just seven months ago and I'm 15!. I live in milwaukee but I go to a studio in menomonee falls!. It takes about a half hour, but I really like to studio!. I dont know if they would let you enroll anymore since the fall session already started!. I go to Dynamite Dance Studio :)
You can also just look in the yellow pages or look online for dance studios!. Thats how I found mine!. I also emailed the dance teachers, and I asked if I could watch one of their classes!. And here I am!.!.!.now taking ballet tap and jazz!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
