Question: How to do a left and right splits!!!!?
Im planing on tryingout for the drill team next year and one of the requirements r doing a left and right splits and im not very flexible so is there any ways i could learn or make myself do a right and left splitsWww@QuestionHome@Com

Stretch twice a day!.
Practice streches 40 seconds each
1!. Put on stretchable clothes
2!. Pike stretches
3!. Pretzel Stretch
4!. straddle Stretch (right, left, middle)
5!. Move gently into spilts DO NOT BOUNCE YOU'LL PULL A MUSCLE!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

STRETCHING!! Be sure you do light cardio to get the blood pumping and your muscles warmed up before stretching!.

The best way stretch to achieve the splits is to sit on the ground with your legs straight out in front of you!. Lean forward trying to touch your toes!. Only go until you feel resistance!. Don't over stretch or you'll pull a muscle!.

Another good one is to sit on the ground!. Fold one leg in like sitting indian style!. Point the other one to the side straight out!. Then lean sideways trying to touch the toes of the outstretched leg!. Do it for both legs!.

also standing up with your feet together and bending down to touch your toes help!.

Basically if your stretching and your feeling it in your legs it should help!. Stretching the thighs is key!. You can't do it once or twice and expect results either!. You have to be disciplined and continue to do it!.

After you've achieved the splits you also need to continue to stretch or your muscles will lose their elasticity!. Hope you make your team!Www@QuestionHome@Com

of course! just stretch for 10 minutes everyday!. mostly you legs!. youll get much more flexible later on!.

The only way to learn them is to stretch A LOT!. Remember to keep your hips straight!. Don't force yourself, or you'll hurt yourself!. For example, if someone sits on your back to push you down you could tear a ligament in your leg!. So DON'T!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
