How exciting! I remember when I first started taking lessons!.!.!. I was horrible! You will practice, study and get sore muscles, and then you'll get bruises!. Some tips I found out the hard way!.!.!.

Be prepared for blister and callouses!. It's all part of the process!.

Be prepared for bruises and sore muscles!. You'll be using muscles you never knew you had, and the grip you'll need to develop in your hands, thighs and arms will cause bruises that are to be worn like tiny badges of honor!

Don't be crazy and try to wear the shoes first off!. Get comfortable on your bare feet before you go and sprain an ankle!. Some studios require that you wear platforms!.!.!. DON"T until YOU are ready!.

Have fun and don't give up!. It can be discouraging but you will fail the first few, maybe 20 times you try a move!. It took me a full month to get the basic invert but now that I can do it I know not to give up!. I haven't done a handstand or somersault in over 10 years!.!.!. but I can hang upside down by my thighs!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
