Question: How to be able to be more flexible!. I need help! Dancers answer!.!.!. but everyone else can too!!?
Ok so I need to be able to do the splits by February!. The reason I need to be able to do this is because the try outs for the Bomberettes (High school dance team) are in feb!. Heres a video of them

How long should I stretch!? What kind of stretches!? I can already touch the palms of my hands to the floor when I stand up!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just do your splits!. Hold each one for one minute in the morning and one at night!. They'll get there!. Just continue do do them!.

Okay heres some help!. I had to do the same thing for dance!. We have to have a splits down to be in some type of group!. First of all you need to be streching everyday this well really help you get more flexible and help you get to your goal of getting into your splits!. One thing I would pratice is to do a half split its where your front leg is straight like it was in the splits and the back leg is bent and just keep leaning over and it should help and when thats not hurting make your back leg a little more less bent until your into the splits!. also other one is to pratice your heel streches on the ground; pull your leg up as high as you can and how that!. also spreading your legs out and reaching for the middle is really good!. 1# STRETCH EVERYDAY because if you want them by february there not gonna come themselves!.
you can also overstretch them which is where you put you legs on a raised object (pillow is easiest) and go down as far as you can!.

that website has really good stretches you should do everyday for about 15 mins to 30 mins

I suggest taking some sort of dance class or gymnastics where you learn a GOOD way to stretch!. You should also begin stretching for about 20 to 30 minutes everyday, once in the morning and once at night!. You can do this while watching t!.v!. or just chilling out, etc!. if it hurts when you stretch, don't push it anymore!. A pulled/ injured muscle is no fun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should stretch everyday for 30 minutes!. I take ballet and that's what i do!. You should go take some classes such as ballet, yoga, pilates etc!. I do stretches and sit on them while watching tv!.

You can stretch one at a time:
Put one leg on something high but not too high and start putting ur body towards the leg and bounce and stretch!. Then do the other leg!.

You should always stretch one leg at a time make sure when your stretching it hurts a little cause that's the only way that helps but don't over do it!. After you stretch both leg one a time do both legs now!.

sit in the splits position, and since your still in the air start bouncing and sit there for like 10 mins so you can stretch your muscles and veins out!. I let my hands go so i fall down and then bounce!.

You must practice Practice PRACTICE!
