Question: When you're at a dance (school dance), how are you supposed to dance when the dj puts on a medium tempo song!?

They usually start off slow, then go faster!.!. or are just in-between!. some examples:

gotta be somebody - nickelback
nothing in this world - paris hilton
addicted - kelly clarkson

!.!.!. there are a lot more but i just can't think of any!!

Anyways, I just don't get it!.!.!? One time a song was put on that started off slow, so most people started slow-dancing, but then it started going fast and a lot of people let go of who they were dancing with!.!.!. awkward!.

A DJ who knows what he/she is doing, knows better than to do this!! If the whole song is set at that pace, that is the time to hit the drink table!. An empty dance floor is the worst thing a DJ can have, so train them to keep the party going! If you find yourself in this situation and it is too late to creep off the floor, just laugh and go with it!. Dance like some hippie from the sixties, but obvious that you are making fun of the dancibility of the song!. If you are really brave, however, a few displeased looks at the DJ, or even telling him/her will help make the next dance better, if they take the hint!.
