Same as you 3 to 12!. I love pointe and I had class today!. I was on my way home and rubbing my feet and just realized how much mussle I had built in my feet!. But I have a friend Who has been taking ballet for two years and our teachers say she can go en pointe next year!. So I guess it really just depends on ankle strength and development but you and I started early so we just started building up strength earlier!. But I don't regret the long years of dance on bit! Well, I started when I was 4 and now I'm 13!. We never took pre-pointe!. Our classes were at the time, only 4 or 5 days a week, and the classes were only like an hour and a half!. But, we built up the strength to be ready for pointe, and towards the end we began to do more releves and achapayes!. Lol, my spelling is way off but I'm tired!. :) Honestly, If you are progressing, and your feet are ready, they're strong and prepared for strenuous pointe work, you could've only taken dance for two years and it would be possible to go on pointe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well I started to dance when i was 2 and when i was 9 i did pre pionte for one year then my teacher saw the ankles were strong enough and went to pionte the end of that year!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

basiclly we dont do pre-pointe at our studio because our teachers dont belive that there should be an extra class you pay for to learn things that you can learn in your classes (turn out, about pointe shoes,ectectWww@QuestionHome@Com
