Question: Help me please i am a dancer :)!?
I am a dancer-but i like my food anyone know a good way to speed up your metabolism!?

Well if you're a dancer I'm not surprised you like your food and indeed you should be making sure you're eating enough!.

There's no safe or sensible way to speed up your metabolism but if you're doing a lot of dance then you'll naturally be burning energy anyway!.

A good way to keep your metabolism going healthily is to eat a good breakfast (complex carbohydrates that release energy slower than simple carbs is ideal, something like porridge made with milk, and a little honey to sweeten)!.

Then mid morning have some fruit (apricots, apple, and half a banana or something like that)!.

Lunch should also be a good balance of protein, healthy fat (avocado, or sunflower spread), and wholegrain bread or wholemeal tortilla wrap!. Plus perhaps a yoghurt!.

Mid-afternoon you should have another small snack (oat biscuit and a glass of fruit smoothie), and then in the evening a balanced dinner!.

If you eat regularly like this your metabolism will stay ticking over!. It's when you start dieting your body goes into starvation mode as it doesn't know when to expect the next meal so your metabolism actually slows down!.

It's also important to keep yourself hydrated and drink plenty of water!.

DON'T diet, think of it as a healthy eating fuel giving programme!. It's fine to have a treat, everything in moderation, and keep exercising!. If you eat healthily like this, little and often, your body will appreciate it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

theres NOTHING wrong for a dancer to like food, it just depends on how much you eat of it and how much of the wrong thing you eat!.!.!. i know my ballet teacher LOVES her food and still was excepted into the australian ballet wen she was younger!.!.!.

from my understanding, you cant exactly fasten or slow down your matabalism- its just the way your body functions and your genetics!. you can by all means enjoy your food but wen you know youve had enough youve had enough, but dont go stupid and think that even though you have eaten for example a bowl of poridge this morning and purposly not eat anything until maybe dinner time or not at all for the rest of the day, that'll just cause weight problems- fat OR annorexic!.!. i wont go on coz i assume you catch my drift!.!.

chew gum and exercise!!!! honestly!!! if you exercise and then lay down for the rest of the day, your metabolism will go faster up to four hours after you are done exercising!!! and the chewing gum thing!. well it just gives your body something to do!!! it is better then if you were just chewing on your toung or something! haha! well good luck!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

dancers dont need a fast metabolism to be sucessful!. to eat small, frequent meals - one approximately every three waking hours!. THat should help!.!.!.!.

No I don't sorry but I would just suggest lots of excersize to burn any extra calories you may be eating!. If you just be sensible about this it wont be a big problem!.
