Question: BALLET DANCERS: pointe padding question!?

i tape my big toe and my pinky toe on my left foot and use a bloch ouch pouch!. what do you use have you ever used ouch pouches and do youy like what you use betterWww@QuestionHome@Com

I use the original ouch pouch, it works really well for me!. That is the only kind of padding I have tried though, so I cannot really compare it to others!. The only problem is that they sometimes show through my tights, because they are longer than my pointe shoe, but that is never a problem, just kind of funny!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it depends on the shoe you wear!.
some shoes already have padding in them so you don't need any additional padding!.
get the shoe that is right for you and you will not need all that tape!. :)
or you can use those jelly tubes for your toes, they will be a better alternative than tape!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

i use the Leo soft pointe gel pads!. they work great!. and they come in two different colors, pink and purple!. they're 13!.25 from discount dance supply or you could probably buy them from your local dance boutique!. =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I used lambs wool with gel tips toe pads, I've tried gels and ouch pouch but they arn't as good and take up to much room!. I use a toe saver one each of my big toes also!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
