Question: What should I wear to a workshop!?
I'm going to a dance workshop tomorrow!. It's from 8-4!. I go to the Showstopper Convention every year, and I know what they wear there!. But I'm with a new studio and this is a lot more intense!. Apparently a lot of the people there have been dancing since they were 3, and competitively for a long time!. I've been dancing for 9 years, but my old studio wasn't competitive so I'm not that fantastic!. I don't have any spandex, should I just wear shorts [soffes] and a tight shirt!? Should I wear tights!? Help please!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would say that you should wear your leotard and tights with shorter shorts on top, maybe a tighter fitting tank top for hip hop or dances like that!. Just don't wear a bikini swimsuit, because that really annoys other studios and it just isn't the kind of thing you should wear to a convention!. Or just wear what you usually wear to class!.

Well, lol, I AM a ballet dancer, but during various summer intensives I've been trained in modern, contemporary, and jazz!. If I were you I would wear the soffes and a leotard, with a tight t- shirt on the top possibly!. I am the spandex queen, but, in this I'd wear my technique tights, roll them up, put on top of that colorful, mesh capri tights, a modern leotard, and my slippers, and I'd put my hair in a twist instead of a bun!. That's me though, and I'd probably also have on hand some little spandex shorts and a wrap!. Anyways, your dancing is more important than what you wear!. Good Luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
