Question: Any Irish dancers out there!?
Can you explain the feis system to me!? Because i know there's beginners, primary, intermediate and open, but is there alternate names for them, because i often hear people using other names and have no idea what they mean!.
And what happens once you get past open!? Do you then do all Ireland's and worlds, and nationals and whatever!?
And one more thing!.!. (sorry about all the questions lol!.!.) what's oireachtas!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi I'm in open so i've had some competition experience!.
These are the levels at least i think after open these are how they go!. correct me if im wrong!.
Beginner (need a 1,2,3 to advance)
Advanced Beginner (1,2,3 to advance)
Novice (1st to move up)
Open (1st to move up)
Prelim
Prelim Champion
Open championship

An oireachtas as far as i've been told is the qualifiers for nationals!. There is the eastern division ones and western from what i've been taught!. If you qualify in nationals you go to the worlds which are often in ireland (obviously)!.

I hope this helps you even a little bit!. Good luck dancingWww@QuestionHome@Com
