Question: Milwaukee Ballet Summer Intensive!?
I was just considering going to it this summer, and wondering if anybody went to it and could tell me what its like!?
I know there's a six week program and a three week program, and the six week one is much more expensive, so i was also wondering if the three week is just as beneficial, only shorter, or if its really worth the extra!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The best place to ask questions about specific ballet summer intensives is on the Ballet Talk for Dancers message board:
http://dancers!.invisionzone!.com/index!.ph!.!.!.

They have an entire section on summer intensives, with discussion threads for every program under the "2007/2008 Summer Intensives" forum!. It is free to register and members remain anonymous, just like here!. By posting there, you can connect with many people who have direct knowledge of the program!.

I know that Milwaukee Ballet's summer intensive is a good program!. My daughter auditioned for it but chose not to attend (even though she was awarded a scholarship)!. In general, though, I can tell you that dance training is not like school; you can't cram longer training into a shorter amount of time!. If you are a serious pre-professional student who is over the age of 15, you really can't be away from dance classes for too long over the summer or your muscles will atrophy!. But three weeks is better than nothing!.
