Hmmm okay well splitz, try to push it down, also keep ur back straight and hands lightly on floor to push!. If go to ur knee then it can effect ur posture!. Jazz splitz front and back, butterfly, bar stretches or use a high surface!. also if u can stretch a litlle per day it helps start with simple strechs and then maybe hold each for 30 seconds!.!. splitz hold min to 2 tops trust me u dont want to do it more bcuz then ur so sore u wont want to strech the next day!!!!! Do these and it should help, ujst try ur hardest and if ur percistent then it will pay off and u will get it!!!!!!!!! hope it helps ANd good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

When you stretch for the splits, there are three different stretches I can think of for not very flexible legs!. Fold your back leg with your front leg straight in front of you, fold your front leg with your back leg straight behind you, and finally supporting your weight with your hands, keep both legs straight and try to go down as far as possible!. The challenge with the last one is to keep your back knee straight!.
Keep at it, always warm up first, don't bounce(that way injury lies), and don't be discouraged if it doesn't seem to do much at first!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stretch yourself!. Do lunges, butterflys, touch your toes etc!. Make sure your legs are stretched and so is your back!. Sit with your legs apart on the floor and put your head down!. Then try to put it on your left/right leg!. This may be difficult!.
Go into position!. This will either be straddle, left or right!.
Slowly lower yourself down as far as you can go!. Don't over do it!. This means if you can only go down to be a foot off the ground while feeling a decent stretch, don't go farther!.
Hold on to it for one to five minutes!. Push yourself down farther as you go on!. Don't be afraid, just be cautious!.
Repeat for the rest of the positions!.
When you are first doing it, it may hurt but as you keep practicing the hurt will slowly go away!.



[edit] TipsMake sure your toes are pointed!.
If you can't go down very far put one hand on each side to hold your self up!.
To get an even better stretch for your left and right, try to put your head on your leg or lean back and try to look at the wall!.
Stay in a clear area where you won't get stepped on!.
Make sure that your knee stays tucked in and does not face out to the side!.
Wear flexible, comfy, clothing!. You want your legs to be in a split, but not your pants!Www@QuestionHome@Com
