Question: Dance class advice!.!.!.!?
Hi, I'm 14 (will be 15 in 4 months) and would like to try dance classes!. I thought Jazz and Ballet would be good to take!. I like the grace of ballet and like hip hop but would like to do something a little slower and smoother!. Would these be too difficult for me to learn (only recreational purposes)!? If I stuck with it for a couple years, do u think it would be possible for me to go en pointe!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Jazz is a really easy dance to have fun with and you'll pick it up easy if you have rhythm !.!.!.!. i have danced for many years and jazz is def!. one of my favorite and also you'll also learn some turns and jumps that you see in ballet only a little bit more jazz-ed downWww@QuestionHome@Com

En pointe, like gymnastics consist of verydedicated indviduals that started at a very very young age !.!.!.!.as early as two years old!. As athletes, they tend to peak (or be their very best between age 15-18)!.!.!.!.NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE THOUGH! If you want en pointe you'd have to go way beyond recreational!.!.!.into waking early and spending the majority of time to do it!.

If you aqre going simply for the fun recreational side of it, I would reccomend ballroom dancing competition!.
It involves some fun work, it is an aMAZING workout, and you get to dress up and perform as an individual, which is alot less stress than having to perform seamlessly as a large group, tha is tough!!!!!

Best of luck to you!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Dance like any art requires dedication and time to learn!. If you want to learn dances for recreational purposes you could learn modern day dancers or the Tango!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
