okay for pointe!. it depends what kind of toe pads you have!. If you dont use any or if you use little padding than your toes are more on the ground than if you use bulkier padding, like some gel toe pads!. But the only thing between you and the floor is the platform which is made of like a strong paper and a strong glue, and then whatever kind of toe pads you have!. That is why pointe can be painful because your toe are being pushed into the ground!.

Your feet should be well turned out, although turn out comes from the hips, but your feet should look like they're turned outwards, not forwards!.
The majority of the time your feet will be pointed, and your feet will usually always be placed in 1st,2nd,3rd,4th or 5th position when on the ground!. In a pointe shoe you are literally just standing on the tip of your toes!. The feeling is hard to describe unless you try it!. Hope I helped :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Um!.!.!. the feet should be well turned out!? Really, turnout comes from the hips, not the feet, but the "feet" should be pointing to the side at all times, not the front!. Whenever your foot leaves the ground, it should be pointed (with exceptions such as for battement frappes!.)

In pointe shoes, a dancer stands on the very tips of her toes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your feet should be out, other whys the whole dance is pretty much backwards for your feet and you would look silly on stage everyone would be doing the opposite of youWww@QuestionHome@Com
