Question: Do you think bellydancing is slutty!?

I was thinking about finding and taking a bellydancing class, but when I suggested that to my friends, they were like "euh no thanks I don't want people to think I'm a slut!."

I just think it'd be a fun and unique thing to do and an excellent way to tone my stomach and hips!. I never thought it was slutty but apparently other people think it is!.

It's not supposed to be slutty, but like many other things in life, it can be turned into something cheap and trashy!. With improper technique and poor (too skimpy) clothing choices, bellydancing can look very slutty!. My experiences with the dance have only been positive!. When I was at a bellydancing festival a few weeks ago, I saw performers as young as 16 and as old as mid 70's!. I can promise you that not a single woman or man there looked slutty/trashy/cheap!. If you choose to take lessons without your friends, you'll have a good time and meet people with more positive attitudes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love belly dance! Belly dance is not slutty when performed as it ought to be!. Belly dancers don't use a pole, do lap dances, or strip!. Those are different dance styles of their own!. Belly dance is an art form!. Belly dance is not about eroticism!. Belly dance is more complex than what many seem to believe!. It takes time to really get the technique perfected for more involved movements!. There are some misconceptions about belly dance, partly due to inaccurate portrayals by Hollywood, but the general perception seems to be improving as people are becoming better informed about what belly dance is and is not!. I have yet to see a belly dance performance that is anywhere near as provocative as some dance performances in many music videos!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you wanna do it to ton your stomach then it's not slutty!. But if you kinda do it for fun!? I guess you could say!.!.!.then yes!. I'd consider it slutty!. But just because of the way you move your belly!. It's kinda provactive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

bellydncing is definetly not slutty and gets you in shape very quickly and you have fun at it and you'll also learn a few hot moves to impress the guys!Www@QuestionHome@Com
