Question: URGENT pointe question!!!?
What does a teacher look for when you bring your first pair of pointe shoes to her!?

If there is a scratch on the box of the shoe, can that be from the fitting or does it have to be from when you wore them!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

well have you been wearing them at home!? if not, then the scratch is probably from the fitting!. scratches are fine though, eventually it will happen!.

when you show your teacher your shoes, dont sew them or write in them or dance in them yet, because they might not fit right according to her!. they shouldnt be too wide, and if you are to take a plie in second, your toes shouldnt be jammed in the front!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think when a teacher looks for in a Pointe shoe is to make sure its sturdy and it fits you properly!.!.!.!.Well assuming you are a beginner!.!.!.!.!.If you have been wearing them at home you teacher could get mad at you because you who would be wearing them with out training!.!.!.!.!. unless the scratch is from the fitting then you would still have needed to go on the box!.!.!.!.!. which means you indeed went on pointe!.!.!. or simply the fabric was scratched while making the shoe!.!.!.!.so!.!.!.!. if you go to a very strict ballet school then you teacher could get mad!.!.!.but if you go to a studio then i don't think it would matter all that much!.!.!. if you did go on Pointe with out a lesson i would advise you not to do it again because you can get hurt!!! Hope it helps!!!:) Www@QuestionHome@Com
