Ok a friend and i want to take a dance class togetherr (her name on here is RAZZLES and razzles if you read this, hiiii! [inside joke]) anyways, i have a few questions!.
1!. What is the difference between the two!?
2!. Do you have to have partners with both of the dances!?
3!. Do you have to learn them professionally, or can you do them just for fitness and fun!?

The main difference is the rhythm and counts!.!. Wikipedia explains it really well!.

Yep, you'll need a partner for both of these dances!.

Nope, you can learn em both for fun!.!.!.!. If that's what you're looking to do, i'd recommend salsa over cha cha!.!.!. Salsa is definitely more of a party style dance, it's more fun and flirty!.!.!. I hear and dance to salsa all the time at clubs!.!. come to think of it i've never actually heard a dj use a cha cha song in a club before lol!.!.

Which ever one you choose to learn good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I go to a Center and we've (all gals I'm sorry to say) learned the
Cha Cha and the Salsa both!. We don't have any partners, so
we just dance by ourselves (still fun)!. We even performed at
our County Fair this year!. We are actually an "exercise to music" class!. We meet for one hour twice a week!.

ChaCha: step, step, cha-cha-cha (the rythmn)
Salsa: step, quick 2, 3 (box configuration)

It's for fun!. Hope you enjoy!Www@QuestionHome@Com
