Question: How to make sure you kick over on a back walkover!?
ok so i am tryingout for cheer leading this year and i want to show the people that i cant do a back walkover!. now i can do a back walkover but 20% of the time i only go half way and stop!. How can i make sure my legs go over!? also, i am trying to do a backhand spring!. I have the kicking over part, just not the jumping back part down!. Please help me!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

stretch alot b4 doing one,try puting your hands farther apart, and bring ur legs and hands a little more closer to each other, and try looking through your arms when your kicking!. also try getting more momentum when u kick!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, I've actually just learned back walkovers too, so I"ve had the same problem, not being able to kick all the way over!. If you're not comfortable with going down into a backbend quickly, I'd practice that first!. When you kick over, put all your energy into it and try your hardest to get over!. also, the momentum of going back also helps, so if you're ready, try kicking over right after your hnds hit the ground to get over!.
