Question: Dance is always on my mind!?
ever since i was growing up, i have always been told that dancing is only for girls, and it's girly!. Guys doing it look queer and blah blah!. Anyways, so I have always had an attraction to dancing!. That is something i'm really passionate about!.!. I am told not to do anything in dance because it doesnt make money among other things!. My family is against it!. I'm trying hard in college but just cant pay attention!. I want to get out and dance!.!. What should I do!? I dont wanna go against my family!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Have your family look at all the popular dance shows that are on TV!. They will see that it takes a strong man physically and emotionally to be a dancer!. It is not as "girly" as they think!. You can make money but you have to be good!. If you think you are good and have potential, then you should pursue dancing and follow the road that it takes you on!. Good luck!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
If u get all strong and build nice muscles (so u don't look queer)girls will be too attracted to that to completely notice the fact that ur a guy dancer!.

If you want to dance, go and dance!. Your family should want you to be happy!. And you don't have to go try to be on Broadway or anything!. Take some classes and just enjoy doing what you want to do!. If you're old enough to be in college, you're old enough to make your own decisions!. Besides, girls absolutely love guys who can dance, and a guy in a dance class is going to be surrounded by girls, literally!. It's not girly at all!. Some of the biggest names in dance are males!. It teaches you self discipline, I'm sure you've heard that though!. And there are other things that you can do with dance as well!. You won't make a fortune in it always, but if it's what makes you happy and you can make enough money to get by on it, then that's what's important!. Me!? I'm going to try to open my own studio to teach!. I won't be rich, but it'll pay the bills, and I'll be happy because I'm dancing and choreographing every day!.
If you're that passionate about it, do it!. Your family will eventually come around!. And if they don't, they don't have to!. You only have one shot at this life, and it's much too short to live it trying to please everyone around you!.
