Am i too tall for ballet?

Question: Am i too tall for ballet!?

I am almost 5 foot 6 and i am 13 years old!. I am pretty thin!. I dont know if ill grow any more but if i do it will only be a little my docter says!. Is this to tall to be a ballet dancer!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I remember my teacher who went pro with les petits ballet, said that a pro ballerina should be between 5'4 and 5'8!.

hahahaha no way! im 5' 9", 14 years old and im still doing ballet! ballet is different from gymnastics! you dont need to be small! taller ballerinas look so much better and graceful! Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm 5'7" in a half and I'm 13, so I understand the tall thing!. There are ballerinas that are tall!.[and they do look good]

there's not really a height limit on being a dancer, maybe you won't be able to partner with certain people, but go for it and good luckkWww@QuestionHome@Com

You really can't be to tall for ballet!. I am 5 ft 7in and I am still growing! And that is not counting when I go up on pointe! So go ahead and dance your little heart away!Www@QuestionHome@Com
