Question: Is it smart to put cotton in your toe pads!?

My friend said that she puts cotton in her lambs wool toe pads, was she right!? To me and my dance teacher we both agree that she has to feel the ground when on pointe, and that she cant baby her feet!. Was my friend right or wrong!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do!.!.i put it in those spots that i need alittle bit more cushion, and you can still feel the floor!.!.its just alittle cotton!.!.i dont know how much she uses!.!.but i just put alittle!. I dont really think its babying her feet, so i dont techniqually think shes wrong but thats just my opinion!. But then again i dont think your wrong!.!.if she puts alot of cotton in her shoes, than that isnt that good!.!.cuz then you can't feel the floor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it sort of depends on how your friend dances and her strength and shoes!. it may be right for her but yes it is important for her to feel the ground!. maybe you should ask your friend to talk to a teacher for advice and you could maybe learn some pointers tooWww@QuestionHome@Com
