Question: Back and front walkovers!? !?
I really want to be able to do back and front walkovers!. I can do a backbend and I can do a handstand, but I'm having trouble doing walkovers!. For the front, I do a handstand then forget to put my feet down and land flat on my back!. For the back, I go into a backbend, and i kick my leg up, but i have trouble pushing myself over!. Walking my hands up and down the wall don't really help for any of that, so I'm not sure what to do!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

for the back walk over; you'r probably having trouble because you don't have enough stomach muscles!. that's what it sounds like!. try doing crunches daily to increase your muscles, and it will help you get those legs over!.

for the front walk over; try landing one foot first then the second one, because when you try landling both at the same time, it makes you less balanced!. (:

good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

When you do a back walkover keep your head between your arms like your ears are stuck to your biceps!. Pretend like your fingertips are connected to your toes, as your arms go back your leg comes up and don't stop once you are in a backbend make it all one flowing motion!. Once your hands are on the floor, your leg should be pointing straight up towards the ceiling use the momentum to kick right over!. The closer you put your hands to your foot, the eaiser it is to make it over!.!.!.front walkovers are hard!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i have my back walk over nd i would recomend using a cheesemat!. if u stand at the top nd do a backbend it is inclined so its easier to get ur legs over!! once you have mastered that then u can try it on the floor but u have to practice a lot!! for the front ones u can still use the cheese mat nd stand at the top nd do a handstand nd then u will basically automatically come up nd once u can do that then try it on the floor!! but key is to PRACTICE!!!!!

good luck!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

it took me about a week-10 days to learn to do a balk walkover!. the key is practice!. i had trouble kicking backwards too!. have a friend help kick your legs backwards for a little while and then try it on your own!. for the front one, just keep trying!.front walkovers are harder than back ones!. i don't really have much advice for the front ones except for PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

You need a spotter!. Ask some one to spot you and for the back walkover practice back kick overs first which is just start in a bridge and kick over or at least try!. For the front!.!.!. well if you are forgetting to put your legs down then think about before you go and put your legs down!. haha!. practice alot and find a spotter!. Plus strengthen up those abbs!. good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

Most people have trouble because they are afraid!. You have to do them quickly enough to have momentum to get over!. You cannot pause too much!. also, tight abs help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First try putting your feet on the couch and hands on the floor like you are doing a backbend then kick over from there!. Practice that for awhile and then try it on your own!. Hope this helpsWww@QuestionHome@Com
