Question: What does 4 xxxx mean in ballet shoes!?
I'm going onto pointe ballet shoes and i found some on ebay that say size 4 xxxx!. i'm a size 3 in most shoes but my current ballet shoes are a size 4!. the width of my feet is F/G!. Are they likely to fit!?

ThankyouWww@QuestionHome@Com

size 4 is the actual shoe size, size xxxx is the width or the box!. depending if they fit depends on the brand, because they all run differently!. however, for your first pair of pointe shoes you really need to get professionally fitted at your local dance store!. buying your first pair online is really a bad idea!. the fitter will know which kind of shoe is best for your foot, and what size box, and size shoe, and the shank best for your arches!. ordering online isn't a good idea because you really don't know what shoes are best for your feet, etc!. good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

X is the with, M is the Shank, 4 is the size , Yes they should fit!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

xxxx is really wide!. take a shoe a size bigger than u really are!. just a normal size 4!. u can get them at walmart, payless shoe store, or a store that sells balllet related items in your area
