Will shoe cream destroy my ballet shoes?

Question: Will shoe cream destroy my ballet shoes!?

my ballet shoes are getting dirty and they are really nice pink leather Bloch ballet shoes (regular not pointe) but if i put a little shoe cream on them to make the their original color will it ruin them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

wash them gently with water and an old toothbrush!.
!.!.and use a little soap on the material making the edge of the shoe!.!. i cant describe that bit!. "the rim" of the shoe!.
it doesnt damage them
shoe polish works but is expensive!.
DO NOT WASH THEM ! especially if you have an exam!.!. it can shrink them and make them curly ! good luck!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
