Training and more training!.!.!. flexibility is good, but you won't be able to get a really good jump, of any kind, until you've built up the strength and agility to accomplish the position in the area!. Work on the correct basics with all your jumping, and make sure you're doing the jump properly even without the full split!.

Focus on keeping your leading leg straight and sweep it up off the group!. Make sure you've got a good base with your following leg to push up off of!. Your following leg needs good bend in order to get the power to get you further into the air!. Once in the air, focus on not prematurely bending the following leg!.!.!. you should be able to land and keep the following leg extended behind without bending it!. If you're caving forward with your back on landing, its not good either!. Keep your eyes up, don't focus on the ground, and you'll be able to give the impression of jumping higher!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
