What's the big deal with seamed tights?

Question: What's the big deal with seamed tights!?

lots of companies require them, but ive never understood their appeal!. is there a reason everyone likes seamed tights so much!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is believed that it creates a longer ballet line!. It also makes a corps de ballet look more refined and put together!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was always told that companies or instructors like their dancers to wear seamed tights because they can help show proper alignment of the legs and ankles and can reveal when someone's legs or ankles are not in alignment!. They also help lengthen the legs and are a nice aesthetic!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it has something to do with making the line of your legs look longer!. But I'm actually not positive either, as to why they are so popular!.

I don't mind wearing them at all, or how they look!.!.!. It just bothers me when girls can't get the seams straight! I've danced with a couple girls that just throw them on and the seams are either wavy, or like twisted around their leg, and they don't bother to fix it!. It might just be an OCD thing, but it bothers me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ugh, I hate seamed tights!.!.!. I dance at a semi-professional studio and I personally can't stand them, but I know that some people like them!. Honestly, I'm not quite sure either!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
