Try spraying the soles with hair spray or some other sort of varnish!.

Grace, varnish dries hard!. Hard and shiny!. It is not sticky after it has dried!. Using hairspray - which is a kind of varnish in a diluted form - will allow the questioner to control how much he puts onto the soles of his shoes!. Making them entirely non-sticky would be a recipe for a fall!. Sandpaper would make the surface rougher, giving it MORE grip, not less!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't, if you notice and if your really a MJ impersonator(which is the right word not imitator), then you'll notice that he didn't dance in air forces, or nikes, or running shoes, he danced in dress shoes, shoes that don't typically have the best grip!. Just go to your local shoe store or payless, theres no point in buy a 50 dollar pair of shoes if your not good at gilding yet!. http://www!.yellowbook!.comWww@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe, maybe rubbing some sand paper on them!? I rub sand paper on the rubber grips on my pointe shoes and that helps!.
