Question: What are some good stretches to get my splits !?
I'm a 13 yr old in 8th grade and for high school i wanna be on the dance drill team!. I'm sorta kinda flexible and we do stretches in my dance class for school!. but i don't have my splits yet and i wanna know some good stretches so i could get it thanks and if you have any tips on what to do to get into drill team that would help to!.

1) You can just do your split everyday and hold it for a couple of minutes!. After 30 seconds go down a little bit!.
2) You can also lay down on your back! Someone can push your leg back as far as it will go and hold it there!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can lay on your back and hold your foot!. Then you slowly straighten your leg!. You'll get a nice hamstring stretch!.

I stretch my hips out by doing the thing runners do before a race!. It's kind of hard to describe!. Look at this!.

If your hamstrings and hip flexors are loose and warm, and if you stretch a couple of times a day, you should have your splits in about a month!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ok lets say you wanna do your right splits!.!.!.put your right leg on the first stair and then you left leg on the ground!.!.!.go down as far as you can!.
It takes a while but it really helped me with my right because I used to be really bad at them!.

Pour something on the floor that makes it slippery!. Jump a little bit high, as you fall down , open your leg wide !.!.!. :))
Don't forget safety precaution, like a pillow, helmet, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

WELL i JUST LEARNED HOW TO DO A SPiT! THE WAY i DiD iT WAS 2 PEOPLE HAD SAT ON MY LEGS! AND THEN IT POPPED! YEAH ITS GONNA HURT BUT THAT THE WAY I DID IT! MAKE SURE YOUR LEGS POP ALL THE WAY! Www@QuestionHome@Com

go in ur splits as far as u can and tell someone to hold up ur arms for u while ur in ur splits!.
it hurts, but trust me!.!. it works!.
