yes!!! It is very important that you get a size smaller because all ballet/ point shoes run smaller!.i wear about a size 10 and for ballet and point shoes i get a size 7 in a half or so!. be careful when trying them on because if you dance a lot then you need to have good shoes!!

** I do no what i am saying because i am a dancer with ballet, point, jazz, tap, lyrical, moder, military and much more!! So I hope this helps! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't try to find pointe shoes for yourself on your own!. Go to a shop and have fun trying on and being measured, etc!. Good shops are Freeds of london, Bloch, Capezio!. You can also go to your local dance wear shop for help but they can be busy and small so try to pick a quiet time and day because it could take some time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it depends on the shoe!.!.!.i use capezio and its suppose to run the same as your street shoe size, but im a size bigger in point shoes (i!.e i'm 8 for street shoe and im a 9 for pointe shoes)!. it also depends how much padding you use in your shoes too!. the sizing runs differently because most point shoes are made in different countries (like chacott [from japan] i was a size 25) so the sizing runs different!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Pointe shoe sizes are completely different than street shoe sizes, and the only way to know that you're getting the right size, width, toe length, etc is to try them on at a store with the supervision of a ballet expert!. you'll end up saving money and time, and saving your toes and ankles from possible injury!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not sure, but whenever I buy ballet shoes for my daughter, I go to Kay Clay (not sure if they have them all over the country), which is a store specifically for dance!. The people who work there are very knowledgeable and they always help us find just the right size that we need!. Most of them are or have been dancers themselves!. Look in your Yellow Pages under Dancewear or something similar!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

It will depend on the company!. Good catalogs will tell you how the shoes compare to street shoes!.

If you go to discount dance, go to shoes, then pointe, then click on each shoe and in the description it will tell you how the fitting of it is compared to street shoesWww@QuestionHome@Com

I wear a size smaller, but it all depends on what's comfortable for you!. Your regular size will definitly be to big, but my advice is to go try on some different sizes and styles!. And if you're talking pointe, then definitly go try them on with help from a pro!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

it depends on the brand because sometimes it could be smaller and it depends o the shape of your foot!. and if its leather or canvas!. bloch seems to fit a more narrow foot, sansha treats more of a taller foot!. but i suggest just trying on at a local dance supply store!. to save shipping costs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you may want to get a half size bigger, i have a pair that are my normal shoe size and since there pointy at the tip they squish my toes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

typically!.!.!.yes!. Like for example!.!.!.my street shoe is size 7!. My pointe shoes are size 9!.

It varies depending on the types of shoes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you should prob go to a shop and get measured for them!. if you can't be bothered with this then just buy the cheapest pair off ebay regardless of size and hopeWww@QuestionHome@Com

Check with the type of shoe and brand!. Ask the person fitting your foot how many size(s) up or down you should go!. Don't be afraid to speak up if it feels too big or too small

Hope I helped :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
