Question: Switching Dance Studios!!?!!?
I am a really serious ballet dancer!. I have been en pointe for 3 years now !. I absolutely love ballet and I am really good at it (not just saying that)!. I am a soloist in my studios Nutcracker and i also have three other parts!. I love my studio becuase i have made friends there and some of them even go to school with me!. I just got moved up to the advanced class!. I am 14!. I just saw a performance in my towns common grounds by another local studio!. THeir studio is devoted to ballet and pointe!. the dancers are really good and have soo much emoition and grace and i feel i would fit in there really well!. I try so hard and i feel liek the casting for my studios Nutcracker was abotu politics becuase 2 of the leads are not as good as me!. I have watched back videos of my studios performances and i feel that no1 in my class is dancing from the heart or actually trying (and they are good) I really try!. and my dance teacher who has danced in many professional companys sayed that i have the best stage presence!. There's nothing wrong with wanting to change dance studios! Sometimes the instruction at your current dance studio is not up to par with the level that you want to be at!. It's completely understandable that you want a studio that would suit you and your ambition to become better at pointe/ballet!.

Just explain to the director of your studio how you feel and that you don't want to leave the studio on a bad note!. Explain that you're really serious about ballet and pointe, and that this other studio devotes more time and instruction on those two dance styles!.

Whatever you do, don't just switch studios without informing the owner of your current studio!. That is the worst thing to do!. A couple of girls have done this at my dance studio and let me tell you, the owner of the studio and the teachers were all very bitter about it!.

Just do whats best for you! :) Hope I could help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think if you really want to succeed in ballet and pointe in life you need to do what is going to get you there the best which means I'm trying to say if you think the other studio is going to do good for you i would move i go to the best dance studio in my town and there is always people from other studios around here moving to the studio i go to
i believe you will succeed where ever because its what you make of it so what you feel is bestWww@QuestionHome@Com

i think you need to do what is best for you!. it just depends upon how much you really want to dance!. if you think the other students don't have their heart in it and you think you could be better then maybe this is best for you!. you should be surrounded by students that take their dancing seriously not by girls who are holding you back and stopping you from reaching your full potential!. you shouldn't feel like you would be betraying the school, your teacher or your friends!. you need to do whats best for you!. you will still see your friends at school and i'm sure that they would understand if you explained to them how serious you are about your dancing!. good luck and happy dancing! =)Www@QuestionHome@Com
