Question: A question on Flexablity!?
Can anyone name Flexible movements!. I know the basics like splits, right leg, left leg, and reaching you toes!. Can anyone tell me any others!. Pictures would be nice!. thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well heres just some flexibilty stretching type things/extensions:
(Do all these AFTER stretching)

Six o' clock: Basicly a standing split, heres a pic:

Arabesque: This is a ballet step/move I think it looks best 90 degrees but it is a lot of times done higher!. Here is a pic of a ballerina doing an arabesque en pointe: http://www!.paacademyofballet!.com/images/!.!.!.

Heel stretch: Basicly standing up doing your splits by grabbing onto your leg!. Here is a pic of just the upper body of a figure skater doing a left legged one: http://msnbcmedia3!.msn!.com/j/msnbc/Compo!.!.!.

Remember do these AFTER stretching properly, I don't really recomend doing these without someone teaches you how to do them properly!.

Leg lifts- hold your foot to the side of your body and lift your leg as high as you can!.
Lift your leg as far behind you as you can!.
Butterfly-sit with your legs bent, feet touching in the middle, and lean in as far as you can!.
Back bends-bend over backwards and try to touch the floor!.

Backbends/Bridge:

Scorpio:
It's a backbend except you're on your elbows and lower arms with your feet off the ground

Oversplits:
Splits that are more than 180 degrees

Arch:
The arch of your feet can be stretched as well

Back flips, jelly bean, cartwheel!? Sorry, I'm only guessing on them, I think flexible ppl can do them tho!. Check on TV for the Olympics, the people there are surely flexible!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
