First of all congrats on starting point!!!!

You have great control and turn out for only being on point for two months so keep it up!

Now you need to break your shoes in a bit more so you are able to get fully onto point!. Wear your shoes around the house!. You should also work on strengthening your arch!. You can do this by rolling your arch over a tennis ball or getting a Thero Band to stretch it out!.

When doing échappé's to second work hard to get onto the full of your point!. This will come with practise and also with more broken in shoes and stronger aches!.

Your Relevé's in fifth are nice you just need to work on not moving once your up on point!. This will come with practise and as your ankles get stronger!.

When doing Couru's (or bourrée's) make sure your right up on point!. You also want to make it look like your floating on water or moving along a convayer belt!. You don't want your head to be moving up and down!. You want to stay level!. This will come with practise!. It took me awhile to master these and now i can do them with my eyes closed lol!. A good way to accomplish good Couru's is not to "pick you feet up" you want to "slide" them along the floor!.

When balancing on one foot in fifth make sure your bottom foot is turned out!.

When stepping into Arabesque make sure you step onto full point and keep your ankle strong!. This will come with more practise!.

You are doing a great job! Alot better then some people starting out, so awesome work! Keep practising as much as possible at home and you will comtinue to improve :D

Great work!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ive been doing pointe a few months longer than you and i had nowhere near as good balance as you have!. I cant believe you've only been doing it two month!
You just need to make sure your definetly up on your pointe!. Sometime when you did rises from first you werent on the pointe properly!. Try taking a smaller position because the wider the position the more difficult it makes it!.
Your releves onto one foot are really good!. I can only just do that now after 4/5 months!.
also your shoes have a good bend in them when you're on pointe!.
well done!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Never ever go en pointe at home!. Especially if you've only been en pointe for 2 months, and without a barre or something to hold onto!.

You're not over the top of your pointe shoes but for 2 months they look pretty good, it's hard to tell when you can't see your knees though!. also, my ballet teacher says to never go en pointe without tights on!.

also, since you were going en pointe at home, make sure you've done some flat work at the barre and some jumping and such before going en pointe, and when you're warming up I recomend going up parallel and plieing and a few tondues to the side with your shoes on before you go up to!.

I'm not trying to be mean but it's really a safety thing!.
But you really do look great for only 2 months!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i can't really critique your technique because i don't do pointe!.!.i just do ballet but i have studied pointe and i've seen professionals do pointe and when i compare it to you it looks pretty good!.!.i know i wasn't much help but pointe looks interesting and after seeing someone who is not big and famous and stuck up doing pointe!.!.i want to get started in it!.!.good luck with it!.!.and becareful :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

You're better than I was after 2 months!

It looks like your shoes might not be totally broken in yet!.!.!. They still look a little new to me!. Maybe you just keep them clean!.!.!. I never can, lol!.

also, there are a couple times in that video, mostly when you go into second position, that it looks like you're not quite over the box all the way!. The platform isn't quite flat on the ground like it should be!. I'd work on that, but otherwise you look good!Www@QuestionHome@Com

congratulations on getting your pointe shoes! for being on pointe for only 2 months, i think youre doing pretty well!

now for the criticism!.!. =] at some times in the video, youre not all the way up on your pointe!. make sure that you try hard to keep all of the bottom box on the ground!. sometimes you were barely on your shoes!. if you work on that, you will be amazing!.

congratulations and good luck!!

First of all!.!.!.what a fantastic turn out!

Things you can improve on:
-obviously you haven't fully broken in the shank of you shoe!.!.!.but it's only been to months so no worries :) I suggest walking around your house in them and doing a lot of relevees!
-When you relevee in second!.!.!.make sure you are getting all the way on your box and reaching all the way through your toes!. (i think this is partly due to your shoes not being fully broken in yet)

Things you are doing well:
-your susue (sp!?) is nice!. You are all the way on your box there!.
-you escape very well into your echapees

So!.!.!.Yes! you are doing fine!. Just keep working at going all the way on your box!

firstly, congrats on starting pointe =] ur doing pretty well so far, if u keep practicing u will get rele good!. pointe is extremely hard and very demanding, so dont give up!.
here are some things to work on!.!.!.
- really work on strengthening your ankles, it will help alot! all u have to do are lot of releves, or like heel raises!.!.!.!. this will make a huge difference
- also, when your on pointe make sure u get right over your box
- finally, make sure when your flat and not on pointe, make sure all 10 toes are equally on the floor

keep up the good work =]Www@QuestionHome@Com
