Question: Help with leaps, splits, and arabesque!?
My arabesque is pretty low, especially when i do my leaps!. How do i get higher leaps, a higher arabesque, and some good stretches for splits!. I practice my splits and leaps everyday but im seeing very slow progress!. Any tips!? Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Make sure you're warm when you stretch, and hold it for at least 20 seconds!. If you can just sit there - both legs straight - for a long time, that's good!. Don't bounce, you'll rip something!.

I was stretching and stretching for about a year with no result, then suddenly wham, straight down there!. Just keep trying!.

also, try practicing your leaps a couple of times with leg weights!. Don't overdo it, you can damage your shins landing, but a few times should strengthen you up so that when you take them off, you go higher!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A good stretch for splits is to push yourself against a wall!. Don't worry it comes to you!. It just takes time!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
