Question: What are some excercises to help with balance!?
I'm trying to improve my balance for dance!. Are there any specific excercises or activities to help me with that!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Part of improving balance is finding your center!. Here's what has helped me:

I stand in first position (once you get good at this exercise then you can do other positions as well)!.
I close my eyes and just balance myself there in first for a while!. Trust me!.!.!.it can become difficult to do!. Then once you feel confident doing it flat!.!.!.you can releve and balance there with your eyes still closed!.

It really helps find your center!. Once you can do that your balance is sure to at least improve a little!. : )

Well, anything really that strengthens those stomach muscles!. What my dance teacher tells me to do for my stomach (also like the core muscle) is to do crunches!. They are kind of like sit ups, except have your hands behind your head, not across your chest!.
also, if you have a large medicine ball, you can lay your back on it and do sit ups and or crunches from there!.
