You are never too old! Never! If you really want it, then go for it! Don't let anything stand in your way!. Not many dancers start at age 3 and then continue through!. Many quit after a year or two and then come back when they're 12 or 16 or whatever!. It took me almost four years to be able to do the splits and I have also had to work incredibly hard on my flexibility, but it was definitely worth it and I'm much more flexible than I used to be!. You're not too old!. There are 18, 24, and 46 year old women who started ballet recently and they're doing great!. And then you already have a year of dance experience! That's more then a lot of ballet beginners can say!. You should just go for it and have fun!. Don't worry about other people!. Do it for yourself and don't let the thoughts of what could have been weigh you down in five years!. Just dance! = )Www@QuestionHome@Com
