Position:Home>Dancing> No bras allowed at dance?Question: No bras allowed at dance!? I'm 13 and a 34b!. I'm not saying I'm huge but now my dance school is saying your not allowed to wear one ,not even a sports bra , unless your a d!.! Not even for jazz or hip hop or tap!.

I was upset when I realized that bra-wearing in class was frowned upon, but if you just give it some time, you'll get used to it!. But why don't you try buying a leotard with a cami sewn in, or just sewing in an extra layer of supportive fabric around your chest in your leotard!. But make sure it isn't noticeable!!! You could also just wear your leotard under your regular clothes for a couple days, instead of wearing a bra, that way you'll get used to it! I belonged to a jazz dance team for several years, and bras were required on the women, no matter what age/size, at all lessons, rehearsals, and performances!. They sell them is clothe stores!. Its a bra that sticks!. It's just like a normal bra!. Its backless an has no straps, it just sticks on!. I have the same problem!.
