i don't think it's too much, but that's just me!
i think that since you are on competition dance, a competition should never be skipped for one band practice!
but if you have a football game, i think you can sacrifice an hour of so of practice at your studio!.
if u ever have a football game on the same day as a competition, pick whichever one means more to you =)
i hope i helped!!!
im kinda in the same situation with dance and soccer!Www@QuestionHome@Com

LOL i was in a Marching band and my schedule was very hectic, its not impossible to do both, i personally could handle it but it really depends on who you are!. Eventually things become routine for you!. if you have a show for both things on the same day your gonna have to choose on which show is more important!. For example if your marching band is going to be performing in front of major names and companies (which my band did VERY often) and your dance performance is just at a school then you definetly go to the band performance!. now with practice for both you have to know everything so maybe you can alternate here and there and have one of your band mates or dance partners teach you what you missed!. But NEVER miss a performance for either one of them if you have a major show coming up!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It does seem like a lot but if you are truly passionate then continue!. If you really enjoy what you are doing then you will find the time for everything!. I gave up dancing and now i regret it!.

Don't give up!.
Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
