I have to pick a song for my senior solo at dance, and I can do whatever I want pretty much!. I want to do a song that starts out slow, for ballet, but then picks up to do a jazz part to!. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: A song kinda has to be either ballet or jazz!.!.a song could start out slow and pick up speed but it would be weird to do ballet and jazz int he same routine in my opinion!.
