Question: Stretching Excercize!?
Is there any simple routines that I can do everyday to get my splits and my russians!? I really really need help!! ThanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

To improve your straddle: It's hard to explain, but if you sit on the edge of your couch with your legs spread and heals on the floor, and then fall off the couch into a straddle, it really improves it! Make sure you don't fall too wide because it can be unbearably painful!.

For splits (Italians): Kneel on one knee on the ground with the other up in front (so your foot is flat on the ground)!. Use your core and head to stretch forward, but make sure your knee isn't in front of your foot (if you could see it from the side angle) because this makes it stretch more!. Hold!. Then straighten your front knee, and lean your head to your knee, and HOLD (i know, it hurts at first)!. Then bend it again and do the previous stretch!. Finally, fall into your best attempt at the splits and hold!. Repeat with your other foot forward!. This really helped me!.

Front and side kicks are really helpful for everything (splits, and jumps)

For middles (Russians): do sum-mos!. Stand with your legs apart (Wider than second position) with your toes pointed outward!. Then bend your knees and put your hands on them and push as far as you can and hold!. Then twist your back both ways and hold!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

okayy well to get your right or left splits down i suggest putting your front foot on like a stair or something!. and keep both legs straight!.
for center splits do them upside down against a wall for like 10 minutes and have someone come push your legs towards the ground every 3 or 4 minutes!. that stretch also really opens your hips up!

what i do is, i get a chair, sit on the floor in front of it, and place my front foot on the edge of the seat, keeping my back leg on the floor, then i push down as far as i can go, with only a small amount of pain, because pushing yourself to limits your not ready to suceed can cause serious injury, hope this helps =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

do the windmill, it involves spreading your legs like crazy, or ask Paris Hilton, shes the queen of keeping her legs spread, lol!. Uhhm!.!.!. try the splits over and over for 10 minutes everyday until you can do it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
