Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Your line is basically the shape the silhouette of your body makes!. When you're told you have great lines, its really a comparison of your silhouette against the silhouette of the ideal dancer!. Certain shapes are just more aesthetically pleasing to look at in dance, and when they are achieved, then that dancer too will have great lines! :DWww@QuestionHome@Com Your "lines" are how you look in a certain position or extension!. For example, arabesque, if your legs are at 90 and stretched and your arms are where they're supposed to be and your chin is lifted, then you have a good line!. I personally think a "line" is like (in arabesque) where it seems you could draw straight lines to look like your position!.!.!.wow, i hope that made sense to you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com lines are when your arm to your legs are perfectly in line so it looks like a straight line down your back!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
