Ive been doing ballet for 2 1/2 years!. but I'm on pointe!. before i was on pointe i was in a class with little kids who knew more than me! i was about to give up, but you need to have in consideration is how much do you want this!? because if your willing to work hard, then 3 ballet classes a week,working out, and practicing at home will help ALOT!. also i think u shud get this book called classical ballet technique!. i love it! it super thick and has hecka pictures on terms and how to execute the movements!. another book is the pointe book!. it tells you the story of the pointe shoes and tons of exercises to strengthen your ankles!. keep up ballet!Www@QuestionHome@Com Take a pointe class in soft shoes or get permission to!. It takes years to get onto pointe sometimes!. You can do some extra practicing at home--little half hour sessions of pointe work in soft shoes!. flat, demi point, flat in all positions is a good basic barre exercise!. Then reverse it, demi pointe, flat, demi pointe!. Do 8 in each position!. Do plies flat, pointe, flat!. Practice basic floor moves like piques and other turns!.Www@QuestionHome@Com You need to be a really strong ballet dancer!. You especially need strong ankles!. Don't go en pointe without approval from an instructor!. Most girls have been in ballet a lot longer before they go en pointe but it really does depend!. You should talk to your instructor but from your description I would say not without more trainingWww@QuestionHome@Com I think you'll need to wait 1 or 1 and a half more years or you can try doing double classes so you can be accelerated faster but it still depends upon you if you're going to do your best so your teacher could recognize you!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com |
